I headed to Pleasantview today to play the Graham family for a few simdays. It consists of Roger Graham (ex-college dormie), his wife Jane (formerly Jane Stacks) and their newborn son Nero. The family also has a kitten named Bailey. Jane works in the law enforcement career as a Security Guard and Roger works in the slacker career as a Convenience Store Clerk. Their marriage is anything but faithful. Jane is having two affairs with Castor Nova and Kevin Beare, while Roger is having an affair with townie Brandi LeTourneau.
On Sunday morning Roger invited Melody Tinker over to get to know her a little better before heading to work. As soon as he left, Jane called Castor Nova to invite him over to spend some quality time without her husband's prying eyes. She purchased a pet bed for Bailey, as the poor kitten didn't actually have one yet. Roger was promoted to Record Store Clerk. Jane spent his promotion money on an easel for herself and practiced on it until she gained a creativity point. Roger spent the afternoon playing catch with Danielle Lillard, who liked his company so well that she organized for him to have a discount on his furniture from then on. Jane headed off for her night of work and Nero grew in to a toddler.
Monday morning started at 3am when Nero woke Roger with his screams to be let out of his crib. Roger didn't seem too put out.
Roger headed off for another day of work. Jane managed to smooth talk her way to getting townie Nery Turner to clean her filthy house for her. She got a call from her friend Gordon Wolosenko who as it turns out is her boss' cousin and decided to call in a favour with his relative to get her a promotion the next time she went to work. Jane bought herself a womrat cage and a sweet little albino womrat named Ursula. She and her son Nero became best friends. Roger went to bed exhausted after work - being awoken at 3am finally caught up with him. Jane talked Florence Dreamer in to cooking her a delicious spaghetti dinner. Jane had the night off, so she spent her time productively by teaching little Nero to walk.
Roger was up at 9:30pm, which was sure to destroy his sleeping patterns for a while. He called his mistress Brandi LeTourneau to ask her on a date. She agreed to meet him at Cold Issue Clothing where he was free to pursue her without his wife's knowledge. They fell in love and spent much of the date slow dancing out front.
This led to a heavy makeout session in the street. Roger headed inside to try on some new pajamas. Brandi snuck in to the changing room with him for their first woohoo together. The date was a dream date and after a few more stolen kisses, Roger caught a cab home. The leader of the wolf pack destroyed Jane and Roger's bed, which sucked because they could just barely afford a new one, and it was nowhere near as nice. Jane spent much of the night on the phone chatting to Kennedy Grove.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning Brandi left Roger a gift in the form of a brand new karaoke machine to commemorate their amazing date. Roger spent most of the wee hours playing with the pets and later taught Nero to talk. It was Roger's day of, so he called Nina Caliente to invite her over to hang out. He went to bed exhausted at 11am after pulling an all-nighter. When she got up, Jane invited Kennedy Grove over in the hopes of befriending him. She was successful in this. She headed to work around the same time that Roger woke up. Of course, he wasn't tired at all that night, so decided to pull another all-nighter. He became best friends with Nero after finally managing to potty train him. Jane's friend Gordon kept good his promise to get her promoted to Cadet. She headed to bed immediately to be well rested for her new work hours.
Later on, I headed to Strangetown's La Fiesta Tech to play Ripp Grunt. He's engaged to Ophelia Nigmos, as I've already said. He's in his second semester of freshman year, majoring in art. He's cheating on Ophelia with two seperate women - Aurora Curious and Prof. Marion Hourvitz.
On Sunday morning Ripp sat down to a delicious pancake breakfast. Afterwards, he killed some time watching the game on tv and playing with his gameboy until it was time for his final exam. He earned a final grade of B for freshman year. He had to head straight to class after the exam. After class, he called his girlfriend, Prof. Marion Hourvitz to ask her out on a celebratory date. She agreed eagerly and he met her at Red's Famous '50s Diner. They spent the entire date slow dancing out front, and it was just okay. After Ripp got home, he managed to break the dishwasher and called the repairman to come out straight away. He invited Prof. Marion over and they spent the evening tossing a football in the front yard. Ripp decided to spend some of his grant money for the semester upgrading from a single bed to a double bed. He had to rearrange all the furniture to fit it in his tiny apartment, and now sleeps in the kitchen, but he figured it was worth it.
On Monday morning Ripp served up some toaster pastries for breakfast and then watched a dvd before class. The mailman delivered a coupon for a free meal, which will definitely come in handy for a poor college student. After class, Ripp called his other girlfriend, Aurora Curious to ask her on a date. They met at Go Here Sunshine Park and had a riveting game of kicky bag before settling in to a heavy makeout session. They retired to a park bench and got naked for an extremely public woohoo (their first woohoo together).
Afterwards they continued with another makeout session and Ripp gave Aurora a backrub. It was a dream date and Ripp headed home. He wasn't done though. Upon arriving home, he called Prof. Marion and invited her over for their first woohoo together and the christening of Ripp's new bed.
After a nap, Ripp called Hunter Shahan for a chat. He wasn't tired at all and decided to pull an all-nighter. He called Hunter back and invited him over to hang out.
Ripp spent the early hours of Tuesday morning playing his gameboy. He gained a cleaning point while cleaning his neglected bathroom. He purchased a mirror and spent some time in front of it practicing his speech to gain a much needed charisma point. He called Hunter for a quick chat before class. When he got home, he called his fiance Ophelia Nigmos to ask her on a date. They met at Sims Gone Wired where they sat down to a meal of burgers which was paid for with Ripp's coupon. After a heavy makout session in the crowded dining area, they snuck downstairs to the foyer for a private woohoo on a park bench. They spent the remainder of the date making out.
The date scored as a dream date. Ripp headed home to get some sleep (the all-nighter had caught up with him and even a dream date didn't wake him up). He was up again at 10:30pm for another all-nighter. He called Ophelia to ask her on another date and met her at LuLu Lounge. Aurora was there and stalked them constantly, so Ripp erred on the side of caution by spending the date chatting and tossing the football with Ophelia. They ducked inside for a dance together, but Aurora would not stop stalking them. Ripp decided to end the date early as Aurora was making him all nervous and jumpy. Ophelia had a good time, regardless. Poor oblivious Ophelia. Ripp headed home, where he invited Jasmine Roque over to hang out. He spent some time playing his gameboy, and then managed to start a fire while making himself a midnight snack. He called the fire department and proceeded to panic until the fireman arrived.
After a burnt meal, Ripp jumped in the shower and managed to break it. Unfortunately, he'd spent the last of his simoleons on groceries so it had to stay broken - he's not mechanically inclined. He spent the remainder of the night in front of the tv trying to cheer himself up and forget his cashflow problems.
