Unfortunately, I have to take an unavoidable proper hiatus.  My simming computer's motherboard/CPU have been destroyed (thankyou very much to my boycat, Alvin, for pissing inside my computer's case....)  My graphics card and hard drives are unharmed, but I don't have a computer that I can plug any of those things in to and actually boot up.  So no simming.  Or even creating.  I currently have no financial ability to get this fixed and it's indeterminable how long it will take - I actually need to sell my car just to afford to fix the computer, which I'm hoping will be sold...

I'd also like to point out that I'm completely without internet access at home, as well as still having no real option to re-upload any previous dead links to simming pictures or medafire links if required (let alone the numerous, as yet to be uploaded creations I was hoping to share, which are all trapped on the hard drive I can't access until my computer is repaired)... Once again, even after getting my computer repaired, I'll have no way of uploading anything major until I can afford to sign up with a new ISP...

So... if a link to one of my downloads is missing and you have a copy and feel kind enough to re-upload on my behalf, feel free to post a link to any of that in the comments section of that download so everything is still as accessible as possible.

And finally.... it's been months since I had internet, and I've been avoiding simming altogether so you guys won't miss out on any of my storylines.  If I get my computer fixed, regardless of internet access, I will be playing my hoods again.  There might be updates, there might not.  Super important things like marriages, childbirth, etc will be documented and photographed, then uploaded later for sure.  But as with all legacies of a certain age, for the time being there's going to be lost information if I play/post until I actually have internet again at home...

I'm sorry to disappoint anybody.  I will be back and better than ever, but it's a financially difficult time for me right now and I simply can't keep this site regularly up and running until the computer and internet situation is all completely sorted out...

... the most annoying part of all this for me... I've spent the past three weeks rebuilding my townie name replacement mod.  It's not done yet (names lists ready, coding in progress), but it will be more than double the size of the current mod and I was very excited about it.  It will still be completed, but there... at least there is something for the simming future that I've been working on... I actually started work because due to lack of internet, I've missed out on signups for GOS Christmas In July... so yes, a bigger, better than ever name replacement mod is in the works and will eventually happen....

.... also, an update of The Frost Legacy is coming, most likely in the next 24 hours, but at the very worst, it will be posted on Monday... stay tuned...

We all know each other on LJ. Some better than others. Sometimes, posts don't say everything about us. Sometimes we wonder if it would be rude to ask a personal question, so we don't. Is there anything about me you want to ask? This is your chance to ask me anything about me/my life. You can be as personal as you like, but I reserve the right to not answer a question; if that is the case, you can ask another question.

Yup, you can totally all ask questions if you like.  Usually my simming journal is reserved for simming-only stuff, but anything you ever wanted to know about me, here's your chance!  If it's super personal in such a way as I don't want it to be public knowledge but you're on my friends list, I'll still answer but it will be PM'd back to you.  If it's super personal and you're a total stranger, I reserve the right not to answer and you can ask something else.

Oh holy crap! Sold a week ago and now all my images hosted there are broken!

Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch, but I'm a little worried.... I have nowhere else to host my "naughty" sim pictures (and before you all tell me just host them at my Livejournal, LJ scrapbook just flat out won't work with my computer for reasons unknown - though LJ staff insist it must be my fault, of course... the same way it's my fault LJ Rich Text Editor doesn't exist for me since August, though it works perfectly fine on Dreamwidth....)

Edit October 30th 2010: Okay, a few days later and what I've noticed about this takeover is that my pictures aren't gone.  However, every night (my time) they disappear and then in the morning, they're back.  This isn't very satisfactory.  Thankfully, my dad has web hosting due to his online business.  I've been in contact with him and he says he has an insane amount of space and that I'm welcome to use it - he'll just need me to come visit so he can show me what to do, where to go to upload, login details, etc.  Hooray! 

So please bear with me while my pictures are down for 12 hours out of every day.  This will soon be rectified.

Why do I seem to have disappeared...?

Because as of the 28th, when LJ made their latest code change/maintenance, the Rich Text feature of my posting has completely disappeared. Also, so have all my drop-down lists (eg. profile, etc.)

I suck at HTML, and am hoping that after my fifty million attempts to contact them something might be done. I know I'm not the only one (I've come across a couple of others in my search for help). If nothing is done, I'm going to have to either try moving to Dreamwidth or buy a copy of Windows 7 and rebuild my computer just so I can keep up my LJ. Stupid, no?

I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Also, I decided to lock those friends-only Christmas In July posts to me only (in case you're wondering where the hell they went!) But rest assured I'm still creating stuff for possible gifts (averaging about 2 pieces of CC per day, but only one today because my flu is starting to overwhelm me...)
