Gameplay: September 12th 2010

Today I played the Kosmokos family in Veronaville.
When we last saw them: Cymoril the dog started showing his age, Bonkers lost two fights to stray dog Grace (his arch nemesis) and Sycorax grew up well in to a child.


Nery knows deep down that his weight has gotten away with him, but somehow he just can't seem to give up grilled cheese.  I know exactly how he feels!


Bonkers: Next time that awful Grace shows up, I'll be prepared!  My claws are razor sharp and ready for slashing!


Poor old Cymoril keeps very quiet these days.  He's a very old dog and he only has a few years left.... he is very much loved, though...


Hermia: "Psst!  Did you know my cat keeps losing fights to some stray dog?"
Wendy: Oh yeah, that's real juicy gossip.... *rolls eyes*


Sycorax: "Daddy, why don't you ever play catch with me?  All the other kids at school say their daddies play catch with them all the time!" *uberpout!*
Nery: Is that supposed to be a crack about my weight?
Not a chance.  Just look at that pout!  She really wants you to play catch with her....


Hermia: "I may be the wrong side of forty, but I totally think I look young and pretty enough to pass for a college student like you.  Don't you think?"
Wendy: "..... uhhh...." *searches desperately for tact*


These two don't often show their affection.  It seems life and parenthood has gotten in the way of their romance, which is a shame, because they're actually three bolters!  Yet they never autonomously want anything to do with one another, or even have wants related to each other.... *sigh* At least they still snuggle in their sleep....


The next day, they found they both had a day off work.  With Sycorax toddling off to school, the time was ripe for some reconnecting!


Hermia: "I'd forgotten how big and blue your eyes were....*
Nery: *worshipgaze!*
The two are hoping for another child, but there hasn't been any luck in that department.  A real shame.  Hermia only has about a week left of adulthood....


Jenna: "Look, I'm sorry, but I really don't like grilled cheese, okay?"
Nery: "But how can that be???"


Adrian: "You throw like a girl...."
Nery: "You catch like one...."


Okay, so I have a confession to make.  I know he's maxis as hell, but for some reason I actually find the faces Nery makes to be adorable!  You may now ridicule me....


Nery: Sycorax is already bringing boys home from school?  Oh no!  My little girl is growing up too fast! *wibble*
She could do a whole lot worse than Roxx Flexor, I promise you.


Sycorax and Hermia had some adorable mother-daughter study time.


Sycorax: "So am I still your favourite sim chid ever?"
I've had other favourites since you were born, but I still think you're win, sweetie...


Consort has been causing a lot less trouble of late.  He hasn't scared anybody at all and for once seems content just to roam around jumping in to chairs.


Sycorax.  Just because.


Hermia: "So do you think we should arrest all these people for stalking us?  I know we're off duty, but... it's sort of disconcerting..."
Richard: "Why do we have to sit in the rain?  Can't we go back to your place?"


Hermia just can't help herself.  It's not that she doesn't love Nery, it's just that she can't stand being tied to only one man...


Malcolm: "And you say her husband doesn't have a clue?"
Victor: "That's right.  It's been going on for years!  And I hear Richard isn't the only guy she's seeing on the sly..."
Malcolm: "Poor Nery.  I work with him, you know.  Really nice guy.  He invited me home to meet his family after work yesterday.  I thought they seemed so solid...."


Adrian: "You are so nice!  You know, my cousin is actually your boss.... Screw it, he owes me a favor - I'm collecting!  Next time you go to work, Hermia, don't be surprised if you get a promotion...."
Hermia: "No way!  You'd do that?" *instantly wants to flirt her head off*


Adrian: "Jeez!  You haven't split your skirt, have you?"
Hermia: "Look at me!  I'm a wacky inflatable arm waving advertising tool!"


Hermia: "You look kinda down.  Is there anything I can do to cheer you up?  Anything at all?" *raises one eyebrow*
Adrian: Could somebody please tell her it's her husband I'm lusting for?


Hermia: "Morning, sweetie!  I made currant buns!"
Sycorax: Oh my god, please close your legs, Mom.....

What else happened?
Sycorax gained a cooking point.
Hermia became friends with Wendy Parker.
Hermia gained a charisma point.
Hermia got a good reputation.
Hermia became best friends with Wendy Parker.
Hermia learned couples counselling.
Nery learned fire safety.
Hermia had a good date with Richard Kauker (a townie).
Hermia became friends with Adrian Monif (a townie).
