In our last episode: Zara was returned by a very kind townie, all the children celebrated birthdays and the ghost of Sonny Chambers went on her first rampage.

Though Rupert is spoiled rotten by his grandmother Carrie, Patricia is hardly starving for affection.  When Leslie isn't spending her spare moments keeping little Patricia entertained, Ardeen is there to take her place.  In fact, Ardeen can never quite contain her patience in waiting for Leslie to finish playing with her!

And thank goodness, the oldest set of twins finally started school!  A little breathing space!  However, the moment was dampened when Simgod Izza realized that they started school on a Friday, leaving the whole weekend stretching out without relief!
Leslie: "Neat!  You have elf ears!"
Bus Driver: "You're not gonna make fun of them...?"
Leslie: "Oh my, no!  My baby sister has alien eyes.  It's a very diverse world."

Rupert: "No!  I don't wanna!" *ultra-pout!*
Some things Rupert won't even do for Grandma!

Patricia, showing everybody why she's constantly in need of bathing!  I swear she gets more on her than in her mouth.  Still, at least it keeps her from the evil green baby bottles littering the house...

Rupert: "Ha!  I won that round!"
Yup.  Curse you!  It only means that one of your poor caretakers is going to have to change your diaper in an hour or so...

Beckett: "So, how would you feel if I became your new Grandpa?"
Russet: "Oh man, there are so many reasons why that's never going to happen... should I tell him, Simgod?"
No!  Stop it!  At least try to be kind!

Beth: "Yeah, take that!  Nobody is prettier than me and gets away with it!"
Beatrice: "Ow!  I wanna go home!"
Tamsin: "Oh no!  Stop it, Beth!" *is properly horrified*
Yeah, Beth!  Stop it.  Beatrice and all other downloaded townies are somewhat like exchange students in this game.  And you don't beat up on exchange students - it's unforgivably rude!  Just remember that I made you and I can unmake you just as easily...

Awww!  Patricia's smile can light up any room!

... and guess who finally found a start in the education career?  That's right, Bijou no longer needs put up with that job in the record store that she felt was going nowhere.  She gets to go out and educate other sims and feel she's making the world a better place!

Beatrice: "Why doesn't anybody like me?"
Aww, Patricia likes you just fine.  She's just cranky because she's exhausted and you've been holding her for like, two hours!

The moment has finally arrived!
Gallagher: "So... Oh man, I'm afraid to ask, but where exactly is this thing going to come out of me?"
Hah!  I'll leave that up to your imagination, buddy!

It's a boy!  Meet Rich.  Gallagher's hair, Fairy Queen Corrigan Moth's eyes and skintone.  Yeah, that's right.  His name is Rich Fennell.  Sounds like a couple of words ripped from a cookbook description, yes?  Perfect for the son of a pixie!  I'm not sure what happened, though!  Gallagher ate cheesecake on two seperate occasions during his pregnancy, and only one baby!  Perhaps the "more than eight sims in a household" hack doesn't effect twins, though he and Bijou can certainly still try for babies, so I don't know what the story is there...

Russet and Leslie have both developed strong bonds with Zara (and ignored Ardeen completely - good for them!)  Leslie has even begun attempting to train Zara.  Not sure how she'll do - Zara is a doofus, after all - but she loves her enough to try!

No, Bijou's not pregnant again yet (boo!) but she has been studying up on cookbooks, finally learning to make the elusive cheesecake!

And now that he's not weighed down by an extremely hard pregnancy, Gallagher has finally found the time to help Patricia catch up with her twin brother in the walking department!

Russet: "Hey, wanna buy some of my lemonade, Mr Repairman?"
Repairman: "I highly doubt that lemonade made by a child is sanitary." *wipes nose on hand*
Ahh, the irony!  Still, at least the lemonade stand has made a comeback (I wasn't sure on it being allowed in the last generation, so deleted it).

Whisper: "Is it made with organic lemons?"
Russet: "Uhh, sure.  Of course."
Lies!  At least she bought some!

Gallagher and Bijou still manage to grab some alone time once all the kids are tucked up in bed.  Once again, there was little success in the babymaking department, but that's only twice.  I'm sure it will happen.

... and when Bijou is sleeping, Gallagher has been pursuing his newfound enthusiasm in stargazing.  No luck there either, but it could happen!  It happened once, after all...

Cheesecake and twins /do/ work with an 8+ sims household hack, but cheesecake doesn't work with alien abductions unless the sim is female. I don't know why.

Awesome update though, Izza :D

Wow, I never knew that - I thought it was just my game in which cheesecake didn't work with alien abductions. Thanks for the info :D

Awesome update as usual, Izza!

I love reading your updates! :D
All the kids are incredibly adorable, especially Patricia, and I think Carrie is really a good granmother!
Also, I didn't know that cheesecake doesn't work with alien abduction!

I can't get my sim to make cheesecake.. one of my sims has maxed cooking and the cheesecake option has never appeared.

Awesome update, I can't wait to see how these little rascals grow up.
