The Fennell Legacy: Generation 2: Chapter 6

In our last episode: Gallagher adopted two puppies; Zara and Ardeen, as well as a parrot named Teddy, both puppies grew up in to adorable adult dogs and Carrie gained a new boyfriend named Jaden.


Boyfriend #13 Jaden is often at work when Carrie calls, but she sure isn't the type to wait around by the telephone!  She quickly moved on to Stuart, who became boyfriend #14 faster than she could blink.  Carrie and Stuart have been close to friendship for some time, but the previous winter saw Stuart get very cold, so he always left before she could spend any time with him until this particular day, when he finally thawed out enough to stick around!


Gallagher has stepped up to the plate with both dogs and taken full responsibility for their care.  As a result of his caring attitude, both dogs always behave well for him, especially when it comes to bathtime.


Stuart: *gropes*
Carrie: "Oooh!" *giggle*
Poor Stuart.  I had actually planned him for a baby daddy a long time ago, but that getting too cold during the winter meant he and Carrie didn't get together until it was too late.  A shame.  He has lovely genes!


Zara greatly enjoys the gardening show and never misses an episode.  She knows all about gardens.  She waters her own garden all the time!


Thankfully, Jaden doesn't work all the time...
Carrie: "I think I'm in love with you."
Jaden: "You're not just saying that, are you?"
Carrie: "Of course not, sugar.  You're the only one for me."
Lies!  All lies!  Except for the being in love part.
Simultaneous Lovers = 12/20


Gallagher met up with Bijou at the mall again, and finally admitted his feelings were stronger than just a simple crush.  Bijou has been waiting so long to hear those three little words.  She's loved Gallagher a long time... 


Pieta: "Why doesn't he look at me like that?"
Uhh, maybe because you've never even officially met...
Pieta: *stalks for the entire date, heartfarting and making "call me" motions*


Gallagher hasn't quite perfected the training of Ardeen.  Both dogs are complete doofuses, so training has been a long and arduous journey.


Stuart: "God, you're beautiful, Carrie!  I love you so much it hurts sometimes..."
Carrie: "Aww, I love you too, baby!"
Simultaneous Lovers = 13/20


Gallagher: "I don't know how to say this, so I'll just come right out and ask.  Do you maybe wanna go steady?"
Bijou: "What!  God, no!"
Ouch!


Double ouch!
Gallagher: "....but I thought she loved me..." *sniffle*


Gallagher: "Please go steady with me.  I'll make you so happy, Bijou, I swear!"
Bijou: "How many times do I have to say no before you'll stop asking?"
Oh man.  This relationship just got rocky!  Poor Gallagher.  I bet he's wishing he'd never given his heart away!  Bijou promptly left after this...


Carrie, of course, doesn't know the meaning of the words "romance fail".  This is Brent, who is about to become boyfriend #15.
Brent: "A rose?  For me?" *explodes in hearts*


Well, Bijou obviously didn't hate Gallagher too much.  Though, a new stove isn't exactly the most romantic of gifts...


In case you've ever wondered which sister would win at a dance contest; Carrie or Natasha, I have an answer for you (because I know you've all been agonizing over questions like this :P).  Carrie is the better dancer!


Gallagher took Bijou's latest date gift quite literally and started studying up on recipes.  He was still hurt, certainly, but at least this helped him to pass the hours in which Bijou was at her part time job.  Learning to cook sure beats sitting around agonizing over whether your girlfriend still wants to be your girlfriend, after all...


You guys are meant to be best friends!  Stop it!


The winning of Brent's heart was not as easy as the winning of Stuart's.  Like Jaden, Brent was often at work.  But Carrie managed to steal as many hours with him as time permitted...


As in all her relationships, Carrie quickly asserted her dominance.


.... though she knew when to feign submissiveness as well...
Carrie: "And I willll always loooove yoooouu!"
Brent: "You love me?"
Carrie: "Silly rabbit.  It's just a song."


Carrie had seen how torn apart Gallagher was over the whole Bijou issue, and finally sat him down for a little chat.
Carrie: "Why don't you give Bijou another chance, honey?  I can tell you miss her."
Gallagher: "I just feel so humiliated.  I offered her my heart - the only thing I have - and she rejected me!"
Carrie: "Women are very complicated creatures, Gallagher.  Maybe it just wasn't the right time..."
Gallagher: "If she was really the one, she would have said yes."
Carrie: *sigh* "The one?  You and I are very different people, son.  I've often wondered where you get this burning desire for monogamy.  Certainly not from me... but if there's one piece of advice I can give you, it's that if you're truly in love, you have to keep trying, sometimes risk it all, to get what you want."
Gallagher: "So I should call her?"
Carrie: "Maybe you should..."


Zara: *is still win*


He called her, of course.
Bijou: "I'm sorry for the way I acted the other night.  I overreacted."
Gallagher: "I'm sorry too.  The last thing I ever want is to scare you away!"
Bijou: "You didn't.... it was...
Gallagher: "What?"
Bijou: "Oh god, this is going to sound so awful!  ... it was your mom..."
Gallagher: "My mom?"
Bijou: "Yeah.. it's just that... well, people talk, and I've seen her with all those guys.... It's not easy for me to believe that growing up in that environment, you... you wouldn't have inherited some of her.. tendencies.."


Gallagher: "Oh my god!  Baby, I am nothing like my mother!  I love you!  Only you, Bijou.  I swear it!  If I have to spend the rest of my life proving it to you, I will...."


The following morning, none of the men Carrie was currently working on were at home, so she had to make do with getting to know Andy.  Sure, he'd had a little tryst with her sister Natasha in the hot tub, but that was years ago, and Natasha had been adamant that it didn't mean anything!


They didn't find a lot to talk about at first.  They were one-bolters, but it seemed their interests ran in very different directions.  Still, he laughed at her jokes, which was a good start.


Brent dropped by and saved Carrie from awkward conversations soon enough, though.
Carrie: "Brent!  I feel like I haven't seen you in years!"
Brent: "I just saw you yesterday morning..."


Carrie: "You did?  Well it felt like forever to me!  You know I really do love you, right?"
Simultaneous Lovers = 14/20


Carrie: "Go away.  I have serious sucking up to do."
Carrie and Andy finally became friends by that afternoon.  She's definitely stepping things up a notch lately.  I think she knows her time is running out....


Awww!


Gallagher: "You know, high school is almost over... soon we'll be adults and it's really got me thinking about the future.  Our future.  I don't want to be without you, Bijou.  Not ever.  I know we're a little young for a major commitment yet, but I was hoping you'd agree to go steady with me... Kind of, like, as a token that you're as serious about our future together as I am?"
Bijou: *eyes light up* "You mean you want to...."
Gallagher: "Shh, don't ruin the surprise for when I do ask you that!"
Bijou: *blush* "I'd love to go steady with you, Gallagher..."


Guess who had a birthday?  Carrie is such a pretty old lady!


She still spends a great deal of her time in the kitchen, making delicious apple pies and such for Gallagher.  She really is a good mother!


Zara: "I wuv you Ardeen!"
Ardeen: "Aww, I wuv you too!"


Carrie's joy of cooking has grown to such epic proportions that she has decided to follow in her father's footsteps and start a cuisine blog of her own.  She definitely needed something to pass all those hours of midnight  wakefulness that elder sims are burdened with.


Carrie: "Ugh.  None of my boyfriends are home.  Better work on somebody else, I guess?"


That somebody else is Sammy.  He and Carrie get along wonderfully.  He was going to be one of those easy ones!


Ardeen always greets Creepy Mailman.  She must be the only being in Legacyville who doesn't find him creepy.


A little casual woohoo quickly assured that Sammy had earned a place as boyfriend #16.  Easy!  Funnily enough, he left the moment it was over in stereotypical fashion.


Andy later came by to sample Carrie's delights.
Andy: "I think you're stunning, Carrie.  You're like a fine wine that only gets better with age..."
Oh yeah!  Andy becomes boyfriend #17!


Carrie is most definitely gonna make it to 20 simultaneous lovers!  If she does, she'll be my first sim ever to do it!


There was another birthday in the Fennell household.  That's right, Gallagher is now a fully grown man.  And if I say so myself, quite stunning in his own special way! ... and yes, Bijou celebrated a birthday too!

Gallagher is adorable!! And yes, grown men can be adorable! I can't wait to see adult Bijou (at least I assume that's what going to happen..) and the kids! I wonder Carrie will feel being a grandma? *ponders*

I am so happy Bijou finally accepted to become Gallagher's girlfriend, they are incredibly cute together!
And Carrie is a wonderful old lady, I am sure she will be an amazing granny too! :D

Ohhh, Gallagher turned out to be even more stunning. He really is special, like you said. And good for him to give Bijou another chance- I bet their offspring will turn out to be beautiful.
And wow for almost finishing Carrie's lifetime wish. I never had the patience to fulfill this particular wish for one of my sims- but then I don't really like playing Romance sims. Almost looks like the fact that she only had one child came in handy in the end, thus more time for handling all her lovers.

And I really can't believe Carrie was able to get all those lovers. I've never had a sim pull that off without one of the lovers getting upset somehwere in the middle.
