Gameplay: June 8th 2010

Today I headed to Strangetown for the first time in what seems like forever, to play Vidcund Curious' family (which it's been even longer since I played - possibly years!).  Vidcund married his half sister Chloe Singles (before I realized they were related, didn't notice until she was pregnant and I was searching through their family trees for name inspiration and found they share a parent!  By then, the damage was already done and many saves had taken place!  But seriously, thanks Eaxis, for coding them so shoddily!)  Both Chloe and Vidcund have no shame when it comes to their incestuous love and have even tempted fate by conceiving a son together.  Chloe insisted on giving him a name traditional to her alien heritage - Colony Drone 65535 he became, against Vidcund's vehement protests.  They both call him CD for short.  CD is a child now and is just about to start school.  He has no idea his parents are brother and sister!  Vidcund is following his dreams, working in the criminal career as a Getaway Driver and Chloe holds down a steady job in the business career as a Field Sales Representative.


Little Colony Drone 65535 is such a knowledge sim in the making!  He's always excited to see the local LOTP show up!


Vidcund: "You know, my son has such strong alien genetics that when he grows up he will more than likely pollinate you.... "
Garrett: :-O
CD: "Dad, I don't think he realizes you're kidding...."
Vidcund: "Who's kidding?  His grandfather did it all the time, you know!"
Despite this terrifying news, little Garrett Newson has become very good friends with CD.


Vidcund: "You still look as pretty as you did the day dad gave birth to you....."
Chloe: "Awww...."
Izza: *ubercringe!*


Vidcund: Food poisoning is worse than I imagined.  Will it ever stop?
Hopefully.  He got it at some point when I was playing another family, and he's puked in every bathroom in Strangetown for as long as I can remember.


Chloe's paintings leave a lot to be desired.  CD is embarrassed that she insists on hanging them on his bedroom wall.


CD: "I'm really not a fan of this late autumn weather.  The sun never comes all the way out anymore..."


For the product of a forbidden brother-sister union, he's surprisingly attractive, yes?
Makato: "You're telling me!" *bes a pedo-stalker*


Chloe has become very close to Rodney Jung, one of her work colleagues.  Already, there's more to it than friendship.  She just can't help but flirt with Rodney whenever Vidcund runs off to the bathroom to puke.  It's Chloe's first taste of infidelity and both she and Rodney are loving every minute of it!


She often receives calls from townies inviting her downtown for outings.  She and Ripp Grunt are well on their way towards becoming lifelong friends as well.  Something tells me these two romance sims will become an item!

Hey Chloe, you know, now that you're entertaining the thought of sleeping with somebody other than your brother, maybe you could, I don't know, break things off with Vidcund?
Chloe: "No way!  Nobody will ever love me the way he does!"
Pascal and Lazlo certainly don't go in for incest, so you've got me there....


Chloe: *makes unseemly noises for 7am in the hopes of gaining a much needed creativity point before work*
CD: *tries very hard to read his book*
CD adores film and literature.  He autonomously reads all the time.


Chloe: "Guess what, babe - I got a bonus at work today!  Junior Executive now.  Yup.  My boss says I'm pure gold!"
Vidcund: "That's nice, dear...." *way too engrossed in cookbooks to care*


Chloe: "I got promoted today, did you hear?"
Rodney: "Uh-huh... well done.... " *eyes boobs*


Rare stolen moments while Vidcund is finally at work are rare.  You call tell Chloe's been waiting for that embrace all day, huh?

Vidcund hired a daily maid service to keep the place clean.
Vidcund gained 4 charisma points.
Chloe threw an awesome party.
Vidcund gained 8 cooking points.
Vidcund finally got over his food poisoning.
CD gained a cooking point.
Vidcund gained membership to Sue's Secret Kitchen.
CD discovered his one true hobby.  It's science!
