Played the Ramirez family in Strangetown today. Checo long ago sold his business due to complete disinterest. He now works in the business career as a Junior Executive. Lisa works in the medical career as a Nurse. Tessa is a teen now and a knowledge sim. Checo and Lisa also have a second daughter named Sache - currently a toddler. The family has a dog named Maggie, who works as a Stunt Double.
On Thursday morning Lisa sat down and taught little Sache to talk. With that done, she bought herself a bass guitar and played it until she gained 2 creativity points. Tessa got the urge to get in to private school, so she invited the headmaster to come for dinner that night, then set to work tidying the house until it was time for school. Upon arriving home she immediately did her homework. Lisa wanted to expand the animal population of her family, so she called the pet adoption service and adopted a kitten named Bailey. She'd stayed up all night, and was too tired to greet him when he arrived. She went to bed instead. Sache, however, couldn't get enough of poor little Bailey....
Her homework done, Tessa cleaned the house until it was spotless. When Checo got home from work, he served a big plate of grilled cheese sandwiches (I regret giving him grilled cheese as a secondary aspiration every time I play him). He gained a cooking skill point for his trouble, then headed outside to greet the arriving headmaster. Tessa settled down to study cooking and gained herself a point. The headmaster seemed fairly unimpressed with Checo's grilled cheese dinner, though Checo couldn't understand why anybody couldn't enjoy grilled cheese as much as he does. He served up another plate in defiance. Lisa awoke at 9:30pm. Seems she'll be in a nasty sleeping pattern for a while yet. Tessa was rejected for admittance to private school. Too bad.
On Friday Sache enjoyed some play with her xylophone and gained a creativity point. Lisa spent a great deal of time with Sache improving their relationship. Sache also gained a charisma point. Lisa headed off to work. When Tessa got up, she called the headmaster again to give private school admittance another shot. She's a girl who knows what she wants. Checo spent the morning watching a DVD. He also bought his first car - a utility vehicle with flames on it. Man, you're *coughs* cool, Checo! Tessa cleaned the house yet again. Toddlers and pets make it so messy. Then it was to school with Tessa (she drove her daddy's awesome new car) and off to work with Checo, leaving Sache with the family's nanny, who is in to baby harassment. When Tessa got home she did her homework immediately to get it out of the way. Lisa was promoted to Intern and went straight to bed exhausted. Checo came home from work with a nasty case of the flu. When the headmaster arrived, Tessa quickly got to work making burgers before her dad could spoil her chances again. The headmaster enjoyed them much more. While he ate, Tessa did a last minute tidy up of the house. She gave him a quick tour of the house, then schmoozed with him until she was so tired that she needed sleep more. Lisa got up and continued with the headmaster where Tessa left off. He happily informed Lisa that Tessa had been accepted to private school. Checo spent the evening teaching the family dog, Maggie, to roll over (she needed it for work). Then he headed to bed.
On Saturday Lisa taught Sache a nursery rhyme and they became best friends. They spent some quality family time together afterwards. Lisa bought herself a piano with her promotion bonus. She and Checo headed to work. Tessa managed to potty train Sache (finally!). Afterwards she practiced on the bass and gained a creativity point. She was offered a subscription to the music & dance magazine and accepted. She decided to clean the bathroom and gained a cleaning point for her trouble. Lisa went straight to bed after work to avoid passing out. Sache grew up well in to a child. Checo practiced his speech in front of the mirror to gain a much needed charisma point. Tessa gained another creativity point from the bass before heading to bed. Sache wasn't tired at all, having grown up immediately after waking up from a nap. She stayed up all night, making friends with Elizabeth Ng (BV townie). Checo taught Maggie to play dead, which she needed to learn, before going to bed. Sache purchased a pool table for the family. Then she sat down at her mother's piano to practice and gained 2 creativity points. She bought herself an easel and a lemonade stand as well. Checo still has the flu....
