Headed in to Strangtown to play Pascal Curious today. Pascal's alien daughter, Zo, is all grown up and moved out. Pascal's an elder now. He lives with his younger wife Aurora. They have a dog named Buddy and a cat named Trent. Pascal is at the top of the medical career (his LTW) and so is in permanent platinum. Aurora is working in the culinary career as a Sous Chef. Aurora is also pregnant with their first child together.
Pascal spent Thursday morning teaching Trent to stay while Aurora chatted online. They then spent some time together playing pool until it was time for Pascal to go to work. Aurora got her first wave of morning sickness as Pascal drove away. She left the bathroom in an awful state, but you can do things like that when you have a daily maid service. She threw a house party, which was a disaster - the guests were in fine form shoving each other and flinging insults. Pascal earned himself an $80,000 bonus through a good chance card choice, which will assure that Aurora is well looked after when he's gone. Aurora's pregnancy was making her sleepy and she went to bed exhausted at around 3:30pm. Pascal taught Trent to speak as soon as he came home from work. He really loves that cat! Aurora woke up at 8:30pm and tried to cheer herself by watching a comedy movie. She started showing her pregnancy. She stayed up all night since she wasn't tired.
Friday morning started at 1:45am with Pascal waking up (darn elders and their need for little sleep). He passed the hours practicing his chess skills and washing the dog. He decided it was time he tried his hand at gardening and bought an apple tree and a garden plot. He got busy planting his first tomato crop. Aurora went to bed at 7am and Pascal went off to work soon after. Aurora woke up at 1pm feeling clucky and settled down to watch a children's movie on the couch. Apart from that she was mostly working hard at keeping herself fed and making it to the bathroom. When Pascal got home from work he decided to try to teach Trent to play dead.
Trent got the hang of it eventually. By this time Pascal was exhausted after a long day so he went straight to bed.
Saturday started at 2:15 when Aurora woke to have her belly pop out. She was looking very pregnant and uncomfortable. Pascal awoke soon after to cook them a lovely pancake breakfast. After catching up over breakfast, Pascal practiced his chess skills some more and Aurora watched another movie. Her hunger bar was dropping terribly, as was her energy. After falling asleep in her toaster pastry, she headed straight to bed.
Pascal settled down with his medical books to learn physiology. You'd think being chief of staff at a hospital would have already taught him that, but no. He's mastered it now, anyway. He then managed to break the bathroom sink and there was water everywhere. He's a busy man, so he called the repairman to take care of it. He couldn't be there until the next day, but what's a little flooding? The maid can take care of it. Aurora woke up at 6pm and chilled on the couch watching a comedy movie, then a bunch of regular programming. Pascal went to bed early due to exhaustion. Aurora didn't take long to tire and joined him fairly quickly. Pascal was back up again at 2:30am and decided it was time for a nice long soak in the bath. Aurora awoke at 3am and went in to labor. Pascal was oblivious and didn't bother getting out of the tub for the big moment. At 3:38am Aurora gave birth to a healthy baby girl. I named her Annie and she has her daddy's hair and eyes. Aurora quickly arranged for a nanny to take care of Annie during her work hours, as she was eager to get back to work. She headed back to bed after settling Annie in her new crib. After getting out of the tub, Pascal completely ignored his new daughter and practiced chess instead.
