Gameplay: October 14th 2009

Today I headed in to Veronaville to play Max Flexor for a few simdays.  He recently graduated college, and today I finally got around to moving him in to his first home. 

Max moved in on Monday, and after furnishing his home he invited his dearly beloved girlfriend Roxie Sharpe over.  As soon as she arrived, Max got down on one knee and popped the question.  Roxie was thrilled and accepted his proposal.  Max caught the flu immediately from poor infected Roxie.  Yup, he gave her a ring, she gave him a virus.  Darn romance sims!  I quickly had her drop out of college, as she was never going to pass anyway and Max was eager to begin their new life together.  She moved in and they enjoyed a private backyard wedding with only the paperboy to witness their vows.

After a quick appearance change at the mirror for Roxie (she looked awful in her makeup and hat with her new adult outfit), Max and Roxie headed to the bedroom for a little honeymoon time.  "Why wait?" pressed Max, and they tried for a baby and successfully fell pregnant.  After a nice nap, Roxie was over her bout with the flu.  Max invited Jihoon Jitmakusol (a townie) over in the hopes of getting to know the guy better.  They became fast friends.  After retiring to bed once more Max was also cured of the flu.
Tuesday morning began with Max serving up a nice breakfast of toaster pastries for his new bride to share.

Roxie jumped on the computer and got a job in the athletic career (her LTW).  Max headed in to clean the bathroom and gained a cleaning point for his trouble.  Roxie got a sudden violent bout of morning sickness right afterwards, spoiling the clean bathroom.  Roxie's baby bump started showing so no starting her job until after the birth.  Max invited Cornwall Capp over in the hopes of befriending him, which went swimmingly.  They put their heads together and devised a plan to throw a house party.  Roxie cleaned her nasty puke-filled toilet mess and gained a cleaning point .  She then invited one of her many boyfriends, Prof. Bill Cwik over to join the party atmosphere.  As she sat down to dinner, Prof. Bill decided to flirt with Jenna Vu (a townie) right in front of her.  She was heartbroken and slapped him silly.  Max was furious at Prof. Bill and Jenna too.  Guess he thought it was rude of them to start a slapfest.  He sure wasn't angry at Roxie.

Despite this, the party score was not bad.  When the guests dispersed, Max called a cab and headed over to Sue's Secret Kitchen.  He served up a plate of chef salad in a cooking contest.  He was not victorious and headed home to snuggle in to bed with Roxie.  During the night, Prof. Bill did several furious walkbys, stealing newspapers and kicking over the trash can.
Wednesday morning saw Max awake to serve cereal for Roxie's breakfast.  He's such a doting husband.  Roxie played some SSX3 and browsed the web for music & dance websites before joining him for breakfast.  Afterwards, she chatted online for a while until Max kicked her off the computer so he could jobhunt.  He found his LTW career in the military and is finally employed.  He headed back to Sue's Secret Kitchen to try the cooking contest again, making chili con carne this time.  Same result so he went home in defeat.  Prof. Bill did another walkby to kick over their trash can again and Roxie's belly popped out again, she's now huge!  The rest of the day, Roxie and Max spent hanging out with friends and random walkbys before falling in to bed exhausted.
They woke at 5am incredibly early and Max hit the shower to be nice and clean for his first day at work.  Unfortunately for Max, Roxie was using the bathroom at the time, and scalded Max quite badly when she unthinkingly flushed.
