Adopt-a-Sim! - Amelie Moncur

Today I thought it was time I shared one of my favourite  sims ever with all of you.  That's right, you can now have Amelie Moncur in your own games if you wish!  Bet you thought I'd never share her, huh?  She comes in two flavors - teen and adult.  For hundreds more pictures of Amelie (in case you're not familiar with her), click this link!



First up, the teen version.  Amelie was orphaned the same day she became a teen - can she make it on her own or will she find a new family to see her through her teen years?

Amelie's Stats (only recommended if you want her to be the exact same girl in your game):

Astrological Sign - Libra
Aspiration - Primary: Fortune/Secondary: Family
Personality Points - 3, 7, 2, 6, 7

And now for the adult Amelie.  Not going to college sure hit her hard, but she's ready to start a new life in your own game.  She's a proven breeder of six gorgeous children in my own game, so there's nothing to worry about there!  Will you breed her until she drops or give her the pampered life?  I can't wait to see!

I 'adopted' the adult Amelie. Six children? My heart goes out to this woman. I'll be pampering her like I do with all of my spoiled Sims. ;]

Bummer. I went to install Amelie and got a message that she requires an expansion pack at is not installed. I'm pretty sure I have everything except for Gardens & Mansions (I think that's what it's called) - any idea what my problem could be? Thanks!

Hrm... i have no idea! as far as i know, none of her content requires an expansion, but clearly you're having a problem... i have all ep's and sp's... according to SimsWiki, this error can happen sometimes... do you have sims2pack installer? http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/ apparently installing a sim with that can overcome the error? please get back to me on your progress as I definitely want to help here :)

I think I got it hon. I was initially double clicking on the package file which I normally don't have a problem with. This time I did use the Sims2pack Installer (which I had no idea could be use with those kinds of packaged files). It seemed to work just fine but I haven't been back yet to see if I can pull up Amelie. I'll def let you know, probably tomorrow.

And thanks for enlightening me that I can use the sims2pack installer to install 'ready made' sims. :D

I just wanted to comment on here to say I received a message in my LJ inbox from wykkedwench to say that Amelie is in her sim bin and working fine. Just so anybody else worried about downloading her knows that it wasn't an EP issue at all and can download her without any worries :)

I suck, because I never wrote them down... I only remember one thing about them, and that is that one of her turn ons is grey hair... i don't think i ever actually looked, but when her husband became an elder they suddenly had more bolts and she kept heartfearting him more than i'd ever seen, so I took a peek, and grey hair it was! the other two, I don't remember at all... whatever you want them to be :)
