RE: Miranda. No, leave her alone. Adds realism to the game. Not every real person is beautiful by society's standards, why should all sims be picture perfect? Real beauty is what's inside. Perhaps Miranda will be beautiful as a kind, decent, caring sim.
Al Davis? I've haven't found him yet, but I confess I spend more time in my custom made neighborhoods than the pre-packaged ones.
Just so you know, the face won't change much once they become an adult vs. college student. What changes is the clothing and hair cut. At least that's what has happened to the two sims I've had expelled from school. Also, they get an extra fear slot. (I think if they graduate they get an extra 'want' slot instead. When I get a sim to graduate, I'll let you know.)
